DETROIT — Shopping for a new full-size pickup truck? Dealers across the country are offering huge discounts of up to $8,000 and more on the 2015 Ford F-150, 2015 Chevrolet Silverado 1500, 2015 GMC Sierra 1500 and the 2015 Ram 1500.
The discounts, typically advertised on dealers' Web sites, often are much larger that the "official" Internet offers from the manufacturers. Discounts include cash rebates, package discounts and any other allowance that reduces the bottom-line price.
Discounts at Mall of Georgia Ford in Buford, Georgia range up to $11,930 on the 2015 F-150.
Many Ford dealers in other parts of the country are offering up to $8,000 off sticker on 2015 F-150 pickups.
Chevrolet, on its official Web site, has a special $8,000 package discount on certain versions of the 2015 Silverado 1500.
Meanwhile, McLoughlin Chevrolet in Milwaukie, Oregon is offering discounts of up to $8,900 on the 2015 Silverado 1500, while Team Chevrolet in Valparaiso, Indiana is discounting the 2015 Silverado 2500HD by up to $9,900.
Mastria Buick GMC Cadillac in Raynham, Massachusetts, is offering discounts of up to $8,300 on the 2015 Sierra 1500.
Vicksburg Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram, in Vicksburg, Mississippi, is offering up to $9,900 off the 2015 1500, while Snethkamp Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram, in Redford, Michigan, is offering up to $9,950 off the 2105 Ram 2500.
Dealer discounts to customers depend on model, trim and equipment levels and manufacturer's suggested retail price, as well as published and unpublished incentives from the manufacturer, and may vary from region to region.
In many cases, you must take delivery by June 30 at Chevrolet, GMC and Ram dealers and by July 6 at Ford dealers.
