DENVER — Chevrolet dealers are accepting orders now for the 2015 Chevrolet Silverado Custom Sport HD editions, which add new monochromatic appearance packages to the full-size pickup truck.
GM has been rolling out special Silverado models to enhance the lineup. They include the Silverado Black Out and Silverado Rally.
Package prices on the Custom Sport HD editions vary from $700 to $1,695, depending on the model, GM said in a statement on Wednesday at the 2015 Denver Auto Show.
The packages are available on the Silverado 2500 HD and 3500 HD in LT and LTZ models in either Summit White or Black.
They feature body-colored front and rear bumpers and a body-colored grille, along with chrome trim.
Silverado 2500 Custom Sports get 20-inch polished aluminum wheels, while 3500 Custom Sports feature 18-inch polished aluminum wheels on single-rear-wheel models and 17-inch polished aluminum wheels on duallys.
Key competitors to the Silverado include the Ford F-150, Nissan Titan, Ram 1500 and Toyota Tundra.
Edmunds says: This is an easy and affordable way to give your Silverado a custom look.
