DETROIT — Dealers are kicking off some great February sales events for car shoppers.
For example, the Dodge Presidents' Day Event offers up to $1,000 in bonus cash on select 2015 and 2016 vehicles, including the Dart sedan, Challenger coupe, Charger sedan, Journey SUV and Grand Caravan minivan. Depending on model, the combined cash allowance can total up to $4,500.
The Jeep Presidents' Day Sale gives buyers the chance to shell out fewer portraits of Washington and Lincoln by serving up $500 in bonus cash on many 2016 models, like the Cherokee, Patriot, Compass and Renegade or the 2015 model-year Cherokee and Renegade.
Sweden doesn't have a president, of course, so Volvo is holding a King of Sweden Day Sale, with offers available even to U.S. shoppers. That means the choice of some royal lease deals or 1.9 percent APR financing for up to 60 months on any new 2016 Volvo, including the S60 sedan, V60 wagon and XC90 SUV.
Subaru pays tribute to another February holiday, Valentine's Day, with its True Love Event. Here, shoppers will find such as deals as 1.49 percent financing on a 2016 Legacy or Impreza sedan, Forester SUV or Outback wagon, and 2.9 percent financing on a 2016 WRX sport sedan.
Tying in with its latest ads starring actresses Ellie Kemper and Emily Ratajkowski and wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr., Buick invites consumers to "Experience the New Buick," with deals like zero percent financing for 60 months, plus $500 cash back, on a 2016 LaCrosse sedan and $1,000 Purchase Bonus Cash on a 2016 Encore SUV.
Regardless of what the groundhog says, Cadillac is sticking with its See This Winter Differently promotion, which provides incentives toward the purchase or lease of models like the 2016 CTS sedan, SRX crossover and Escalade SUV.
At Chevrolet, February is Truck Month, with deals like a $7,500 total-value package on a 2016 Silverado 1500 Crew Cab, a $10,000 package on a 2015 Silverado 1500 Crew Cab and a $5,000 value package on a 2015 Silverado 2500HD.
The Jaguar Impeccable Timing Sales Event celebrates the coming thaw with offers like 1.9 percent financing for 60 months, plus $1,000 in bonus credit, on a 2016 XF or XJ sedan and leases as low as $699 per month for 39 months, plus $1,000 in bonus credit, on a 2016 F-Type coupe.
Note that most of these deals are limited-time offers, some apply only to the oldest vehicles currently in stock, and some are available only to existing customers. Also, offers can vary according to geographic area, trim level of the vehicle, the customer's credit rating and specific lease or financing terms.
