The 2017 Titan XD S Crew Cab 4x2 starts at $37,485, while the midrange Titan XD SV Crew Cab 4x4 is priced at $44,375. The top-of-the-line 2017 XD Platinum Reserve Crew Cab 4x4 is priced at $58,105.
All prices include a $1,195 destination charge.
A rear DVD entertainment package adds $2,190 to the bottom line of Titan and Titan XD Crew Cab models. Premium paint is a $395 option.
The 2017 Titan XD with the Cummins 5.0-liter V8 turbodiesel engine and Single Cab models will arrive at dealerships in the fall. Pricing on those models will be announced later.
A King Cab version also is in the works, Nissan announced earlier.
Nissan also announced a new five-year/100,000-mile bumper-to-bumper warranty for the 2017 Titan and Titan XD. It includes a powertrain warranty. In comparison, some manufacturers offer five-year/100,000-mile powertrain warranties on pickups.
The warranty covers all Titan V8 gasoline-engine models and diesel and V8 gasoline-versions of the 2017 Titan XD.
Edmunds says: Nissan is beefing up its Titan offerings, providing a range of pricing and configurations for truck buyers. The new warranty also should boost consideration among truck shoppers for the Nissan pickups.
