ATLANTA, Georgia — The all-new 2017 Mercedes-AMG GLC43 Coupe will arrive at Mercedes-Benz dealerships in the first quarter of 2017 after a world premiere at the Paris auto show on September 28.
Targeting the BMW X4 M40i, the Mercedes-AMG GLC43 Coupe is the high-performance sibling to the 2017 Mercedes-Benz GLC300 Coupe.
Pricing on the Mercedes-AMG GLC43 Coupe will be announced closer to its launch date, Mercedes-Benz said.
Standard equipment includes a 3.0-liter twin-turbocharged V6 engine that delivers 362 horsepower and 384 pound-feet of torque.
The engine is linked to a nine-speed automatic transmission.
The high-performance coupe sprints from zero to 60 mph in an estimated 4.8 seconds. Top speed is limited to 130 mph.
The EPA has not provided official fuel economy numbers on the 2017 Mercedes-AMG GLC43 Coupe.
Mercedes-Benz said buyers of the Mercedes-AMG GLC43 Coupe can expect "high levels of on-road performance, dynamic styling and an attractive equipment package."
Standard equipment includes an AMG sport suspension with three spring settings, a rear spoiler and an AMG Sport steering wheel.
Optional features include heated rear seats, a Pre-Safe Plus safety system with rear-end collision prevention and ambient lighting.
Edmunds says: Performance enthusiasts will want to check out this compelling addition to the Mercedes GLC-Class lineup when it hits showrooms next year.
