FOUNTAIN VALLEY, California — The 2017 Genesis G80 and Genesis G90 luxury sedans are on the way to Hyundai's Genesis brand dealers with complimentary scheduled maintenance and an industry-leading warranty program.
The G80, which is the renamed Genesis sedan, will go on sale in August. Pricing will be announced next week, a Hyundai spokeswoman told Edmunds.
The G90, which is the renamed Hyundai Equus, will follow.
Hyundai on Thursday announced the "Genesis Experience," a suite of services for Genesis buyers.
All 2017 Genesis models include complimentary maintenance as a standard item for the first three years or 36,000 miles.
Owners will also get complimentary valet service for three years and can have their vehicle picked up for service appointments. A complimentary Genesis loaner car is part of the deal.
The Genesis warranty program includes a 10-year/100,000-mile powertrain warranty, a five-year new-vehicle warranty and seven years of anti-perforation protection.
"Respect and courtesy are the foundation of the Genesis Experience," said Erwin Raphael, general manager of Genesis in the U.S.
Luxury automakers are putting a renewed emphasis on customer treatment.
Lincoln recently debuted "The Lincoln Way," a new suite of services, including valet pickup and delivery. The program begins this fall with the arrival of the all-new 2017 Lincoln Continental flagship sedan.
The Jaguar EliteCare program features free scheduled maintenance for five years.
Edmunds says: Car shoppers who are considering Hyundai's Genesis brand get some extra benefits with the Genesis Experience.
