Pricing is not available, Ford spokesman Matt Leaver told Edmunds.
The appearance package features a Shadow Black exterior in either gloss or matte finish with silver stripes and exposed carbon-fiber package.
Other details include Frozen White #2 hood and door graphics and 20-inch forged aluminum wheels in a gold satin clearcoat with black lug nuts.
The cabin is equipped with carbon-fiber seats in Ebony leather, along with gold appliqués on the instrument panel. The seatbelts feature unique blue webbing.
Ford said the special model is based on the 1966 Le Mans winner, a GT40 Mark II racecar driven by Bruce McLaren and Chris Amon.
"We've accentuated new styling cues to provide a modern interpretation," said Garen Nicoghosian, GT exterior design manager, in a statement.
Dealership deliveries of the Ford GT are scheduled for December.
Edmunds says: It's time to start the conversation with your Ford dealer if you want to get in line for the all-new 2017 Ford GT '66 Heritage Edition.
