2017 Chrysler 300S Sport Appearance Packages Debut in August

NEW YORK — Car shoppers seeking a unique look in a full-size sedan may want to check out the 2017 Chrysler 300S Sport Appearance packages that will be available at Chrysler dealerships this August.

The new Exterior and Interior Sport Appearance packages debuted at the 2016 New York Auto Show.

Pricing will be announced closer to the on-sale date.

The packages are designed to spice up the Chrysler 300, which competes against the Audi A6, BMW 5 Series, Hyundai Genesis and Mercedes-Benz E-Class.

The Exterior Sport Appearance package is standard on the 300S V8 model and optional on the 300S V6 models.

It includes a "more aggressive" front fascia, unique LED foglights, sculpted side sills and a decklid spoiler.

The new Interior Sport Appearance package includes premium perforated leather performance seats with high-bolstered contours in suede.

Buyers can also check the box for new Ceramic Gray exterior paint.

The 2017 Chrysler 300S is equipped with carryover powertrains. Buyers can opt for the standard 300-horsepower 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 engine or the 363-hp 5.7-liter Hemi V8 engine.

Edmunds says: No major makeover yet for the stalwart Chrysler 300S, but buyers should snap up these sharp-looking packages.
