2017 Cadillac V-Series Vehicles Come With Driver Training Program

DETROIT — Performance-oriented luxury shoppers now have another reason to consider the purchase of the 2017 Cadillac ATS-V sedan, 2017 ATS-V Coupe and 2017 Cadillac CTS-V sedan.

Cadillac announced the V-Performance Academy on Tuesday, a two-day driver training program that will be included in the purchase of the cars.

The program will be held at Spring Mountain Motor Resort and Country Club near Las Vegas.

There is also a single-day V-Performance Lab, which will be held at Lime Rock Park in Connecticut and Circuit of the Americas in Austin, Texas.

The high-performance V-Series models are on their way to Cadillac dealerships.

Cadillac engineers developed the curriculum for the V-Performance Academy.

"The tailored driver training enables attendees to extract maximum performance from the V-Series vehicles," Cadillac said in a statement.

Key rivals to Cadillac's high-performance V-Series include the Audi S6, BMW M3 and Mercedes-AMG C63 S.

Edmunds says: Car shoppers might want to factor in this program as they consider Cadillac's V-Series models.
