TORRANCE, California — The 2017 Acura ILX premium sedan arrives at Acura dealerships on April 13, priced at $28,930, including a $940 destination charge.

The pricing reflects a $90 increase over the base 2016 ILX.

The 2017 ILX is a carryover vehicle with minimal enhancements for the new model year. They include three new exterior colors: Lunar Silver Metallic, Modern Steel Metallic and San Marino Red.

Acura's compact sedan received significant upgrades for the 2016 model year.

The midrange 2017 ILX with Premium & A-Spec package is priced at $32,920, including shipping, while the top-of-the-line 2017 ILX with Tech Plus & A-Spec package costs $35,920, including shipping.

The A-Spec package adds side sill garnishes, a trunk spoiler, front foglights, 18-inch alloy wheels and unique appearance touches.

The ILX is equipped with a 201-horsepower 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine linked to an eight-speed dual-clutch transmission.

Key competitors to the ILX include the Audi A3, Buick Verano and Mercedes-Benz CLA-Class.
