The price reflects a $3,670 increase over the 2015 Land Cruiser.
For 2016, a new eight-speed automatic transmission replaces the outgoing six-speed automatic. The Land Cruiser is equipped with a 5.7-liter V8 engine that delivers 381 horsepower.
New safety technology is another highlight of the 2016 Land Cruiser. The new Toyota Safety Sense-P system includes frontal-collision avoidance, frontal-collision mitigation, lane-departure alert, auto high beams and dynamic radar cruise control.
There is also a new blind-spot monitor and rear cross-traffic alert. All the new driver-assist systems come standard.
The exterior refresh includes a new front-end look, new taillights and LED brake lights and a new design for the 18-inch alloy wheels.
The eight-passenger Land Cruiser comes in just one version. There are no factory options.
Edmunds says: SUV shoppers will see a larger price tag on the 2016 Land Cruiser, but there are lots of new goodies as well.
