2016 Subaru Crosstrek Priced at $22,445


CHERRY HILL, New Jersey — The 2016 Subaru Crosstrek SUV crossover will arrive at Subaru dealerships in late fall, priced at $22,445, including an $850 destination charge, Subaru of America said on Friday.

There is no price increase on the base Crosstrek 2.0i compared to the 2015 model. Previously, the Crosstrek was called the XV Crosstrek.

The midrange Crosstrek 2.0i Premium starts at $23,245, including shipping, for a price increase of $100.

The top-of-the-line Crosstrek 2.0i Limited is priced at $25,945, up $300 compared to last year's model.

The 2016 Crosstrek Hybrid starts at $27,245, including shipping, for a price increase of $400 compared to the 2015 model.

The top-of-the-line Crosstrek Hybrid Touring is priced at $30,845, including shipping, up $700 compared to the previous model.

Crosstrek upgrades include a new grille, fascia, bumper and headlights.

Gasoline models are equipped with a 148-horsepower 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine and all-wheel drive.

Key Crosstrek competitors include the Hyundai Tucson, Kia Soul and Nissan Juke.

Edmunds says: Subaru holds the line on base 2016 Crosstrek pricing, but car shoppers should be aware of the variety of price increases on other models in the lineup.
