2016 Maserati Ghibli, Quattroporte Option Packages Highlight Italian Style

NEW YORK — The 2016 Maserati Ghibli and Maserati Quattroporte luxury sedans will be available with special interior option packages inspired by Italian designer Ermenegildo Zegna, the automaker said on Thursday at the 2015 New York Auto Show.

The packages will be available this fall at Maserati dealerships.

Buyers can pick from three interior color combinations that blend leather and silk and take their cues from the Maserati Ghibli Ermenegildo Zegna concept.

They include Black Poltrona Frau leather combined with Anthracite Ermenegildo Zegna silk and contrast gray stitching; Natural Poltrona Frau leather and Anthracite Ermenegildo Zegna silk with contrast gray stitching and Red Poltrona Frau leather with Anthracite Ermenegildo Zegna silk with contrast gray stitching.

A Maserati spokeswoman told Edmunds that pricing will be announced later.

Ermenegildo Zegna is one of the top menswear design houses in the world.

Key competitors to the Ghibli include the Audi A7 and Porsche Panamera.

The Quattroporte takes aim at the Audi A8L and Mercedes-Benz S-Class.

Edmunds says: Luxury shoppers can bring a little runway glamour to their Maseratis with these new interior choices.
