DEARBORN, Michigan — The 2016 Lincoln MKZ luxury sedan is priced at $36,085, including an $895 destination charge, reflecting no price increase over the 2015 model, according to a posting on the Lincoln media Web site.
The 2016 Lincoln MKZ Hybrid sedan also is priced at $36,085, including shipping, and reflects no price increase.
?The 2016 Lincoln MKZ Hybrid carries the same suggested starting retail price as the 2016 Lincoln MKZ gasoline-only model,? Lincoln said in a statement. ?All other automakers charge a premium for a hybrid choice.?
The carryover MKZ sedans are expected to arrive at Lincoln dealerships in late summer or early fall.
Key standard equipment on the 2016 MKZ sedan includes a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine, adaptive LED headlights, an adaptive "continuously controlled damping" suspension and the MyLincoln Touch electronics interface with Sync.
Optional features include a panoramic sunroof, inflatable rear seatbelts and a 3G embedded modem with connectivity to the MyLincoln Mobile app.
Lincoln said 2016 MKZ Hybrid buyers ?receive the same key features as Lincoln MKZ gas customers.?
The MKZ sedans are offered in three series: Premiere, Select and Reserve.
Edmunds says: Lincoln holds the line on 2016 MKZ pricing, which is good news for car shoppers in this popular segment.
