TORRANCE, California — The redesigned 2016 Lexus RX 350 luxury midsize SUV starts at $42,840 for the front-wheel-drive model, reflecting a $930 price increase over the base 2015 RX 350. Pricing includes a $940 destination charge.
The all-wheel-drive 2016 RX 350 starts at $44,240, while the top-of-the-line 2016 Lexus RX 350 F Sport with all-wheel drive is priced at $50,065. Prices include shipping.
The 2016 RX 450h ranges in price from $53,175 for the base front-wheel-drive model to $57,985 for the 2016 RX 450h F Sport.
The fourth-generation Lexus RX is longer than the vehicle it replaces, with about 2 extra inches of wheelbase and nearly 5 extra inches of overall length. Much of the extra size has gone into providing more space for rear passengers.
To go along with this added space, rear passengers will be treated to newly available luxury features like heated outboard seats and a panoramic sunroof.
The RX 350 is equipped with an improved 3.5-liter V6 engine that delivers 295 horsepower. The engine is linked to an eight-speed automatic transmission.
Edmunds says: This is one of the most popular luxury SUVs on the market. The price increase reflects the complete redesign and the upgrades.
