2016 Honda Fit Arrives at Dealerships on July 1


TORRANCE, California — The 2016 Honda Fit hatchback arrives at Honda dealerships on July 1, starting at $16,610, including an $820 destination charge.

The price reflects a $140 increase over the base 2015 Honda Fit.

The midrange 2016 Honda Fit EX with a continuously variable transmission (CVT) starts at $19,320, including shipping, also reflecting a $140 price increase.

The top-of-the-line 2016 Honda Fit EX-L with a CVT and navigation system starts at $21,885, including shipping, also reflecting a $140 price increase.

Standard features on the 2016 Fit, a carryover model, include a roof line spoiler, LED taillights, Bluetooth and a rearview camera.

All Fits are equipped with a 1.5-liter four-cylinder engine that produces 130 horsepower. The base model is equipped with a six-speed manual transmission.

Key Fit competitors include the Chevrolet Sonic, Ford Fiesta and Hyundai Accent.

Edmunds says: The Honda Fit gets a modest price increase for the new model year.
