TORRANCE, California — The all-new 2016 Honda Civic Coupe goes on sale at Honda dealerships on March 15, priced at $19,885, including an $835 destination charge, American Honda Motor Co. said on Thursday.
The pricing reflects a $760 increase over the base 2015 Civic Coupe LX.
The midrange 2016 Honda Civic Coupe EX is priced at $23,135, including shipping, reflecting a $1,910 increase over the comparable 2015 model.
The 2016 Civic Coupe EX-L starts at $24,260, including shipping, for a price increase of $785 over the comparable 2015 model.
The top-of-the-line Civic Coupe Touring is priced at $26,960, including shipping. This model features standard Honda Sensing, safety and driver-assist technology that includes adaptive cruise control, forward-collision warning and lane-departure warning systems.
A new Honda consumer website set to debut on March 15 will include a Civic Coupe configurator.
Key changes include two all-new engines.
The 158-horsepower 2.0-liter inline four-cylinder engine is standard in the base Civic Coupe LX. It is mated to either a six-speed manual transmission or the optional continuously variable transmission (CVT).
Uplevel Civic Coupe EX, EX-L and Touring models are equipped with a 174-hp 1.5-liter turbocharged engine with a CVT.
Other details include a new multilink independent rear suspension, standard aluminum wheels on all trims and optional LED exterior lighting.
