DETROIT — The 2016 Chevrolet Suburban full-size SUV starts at $50,895, including a $1,195 destination charge, reflecting a $700 price increase over the 2015 model, according to the Chevrolet vehicle configurator.
The midrange 2016 Suburban LT model starts at $55,925, including shipping, for a price increase of $555 over the 2015 Suburban LT.
The top-of-the-line 2016 Suburban LTZ is priced at $65,505, including shipping, reflecting a price hike of $525.
This is a carryover model with a few changes for the new model year. The Suburban was fully redesigned for 2015.
Changes for 2016 include an enhanced Driver Alert package with power-adjustable pedals, forward-collision alert, IntelliBeam headlights, lane-keep assist and a Safety Alert Seat. It is available on the LS model.
New exterior colors include Siren Red Tintcoat and Iridescent Pearl Tricoat.
A new optional head-up display includes digital multifunction readouts and a reconfigurable instrument cluster.
The Suburban is equipped with a 355-horsepower 5.3-liter V8 engine linked to a six-speed automatic transmission.
