DETROIT — The 2016 Chevrolet Impala full-size sedan starts at $27,920, including an $825 destination charge, reflecting a $35 price increase over the 2015 Impala, according to the Chevrolet vehicle configurator.
The top-of-the-line 2016 Chevrolet Impala 2LTZ is priced at $36,365, including shipping, for a $100 price increase over the 2015 model.
On sale now at Chevrolet dealerships, the 2016 Impala is a carryover vehicle with minor enhancements.
New for 2016 are Apple CarPlay and wireless charging capability. New exterior colors include Citron Green Metallic, Heather Gray Metallic, Siren Red Tintcoat, Mosaic Black Metallic and Green Envy Metallic.
For 2016, Impala is offered in LS, LT and LTZ models, with a standard 2.5-liter engine and an optional 3.6-liter engine.
A special Midnight Edition is offered on LT and LTZ V6 models. The unique appearance package costs $995 to $1,595 and adds 19-inch Midnight Edition wheels, a blacked-out grille and pedal cover set. It requires a black exterior color.
