2016 Cadillac SRX Priced at $38,600

DETROIT — The 2016 Cadillac SRX crossover with front-wheel drive starts at $38,600, including a $995 destination charge, reflecting no price increase over the 2015 SRX, according to the Cadillac vehicle configurator.

The base 2016 Cadillac SRX with all-wheel drive is priced at $47,130, including shipping, also reflecting no price increase.

The high-end 2016 2016 SRX Premium with all-wheel drive starts at $52,725, including shipping.  Cadillac held the line on pricing for this model.

On sale now at Cadillac dealerships, the 2016 SRX is a carryover vehicle with minimal changes for the new model year.

They include the addition of OnStar 4G LTE connectivity with a Wi-Fi hotspot and Cadillac CUE with an 8-inch-diagonal LCD color touchscreen.

HID headlights with adaptive forward lighting technology are optional.

All models are equipped with a direct-injected 3.6-liter V6 engine rated at 308 horsepower. The engine is linked to a six-speed automatic transmission.

Key SRX competitors include the Audi Q5, Lexus RX 350 and Volvo XC60.

Edmunds says: Car shoppers will appreciate the fact that Cadillac held the line on 2016 SRX pricing.
