2016 Buick Enclave Bound for Showrooms in Mid-Summer With OnStar 4G LTE

DETROIT mdash; The 2016 Buick Enclave SUV will arrive at Buick dealerships in mid-summer as a carryover model with a major upgrade in connectivity, GM announced Monday.

The 2016 Enclave adds OnStar 4G LTE connectivity, including a built-in Wi-Fi hotspot. This means that up to seven devices can be used in the vehicle simultaneously.

The Wi-Fi hotspot is activated whenever the vehicle is on and it comes with a three-month/3GB data trial.

Buick Spokesman Nick Richards told Edmunds that pricing will be announced later for the 2016 Enclave. He said the connectivity upgrade is the only major change to the vehicle, outside of the previously announced rollout of the 2016 Enclave Tuscan Edition that includes a bronze-tone grille and 20-inch chrome-clad wheels with bronze accents.

Key Enclave rivals include the Acura MDX and top trim levels of the 2016 Honda Pilot and 2016 Ford Explorer.

Edmunds says: Shoppers who value connectivity will appreciate the changes to the 2016 Buick Enclave.
