The base 2016 model adds AcuraWatch as standard equipment. It bundles such items as adaptive cruise control, collision mitigation braking system and a multi-view rear camera with dynamic guidelines.

The RLX Sport Hybrid is equipped with a direct-injected 377-horsepower 3.5-liter V6 engine and three-motor hybrid system.

The EPA says the 2016 RLX Hybrid returns 28 mpg in city driving and 32 mpg on the highway.

Key competitors to the RLX Hybrid include the BMW 535d xDrive and Mercedes-Benz E250 BlueTec turbodiesels.

Edmunds says: Acura holds the line on pricing for its flagship luxury sport sedan, which is good news for car shoppers.
