TORRANCE, California — The upgraded 2016 Acura ILX sedan arrives at Acura dealerships today with a starting price of $28,820, including a $920 destination charge, American Honda Motor Co. said on Tuesday.
The base price reflects an $850 price increase over the 2015 ILX.
The midlevel 2016 ILX with the Premium package starts at $30,820, for a $550 price increase over the comparable 2015 model. The price includes shipping.
A new top-of-the-line 2016 ILX with Tech Plus & A-Spec package starts at $35,810, including shipping. The previous top-of-the-line 2015 ILX starts at $30,270, including shipping.
All 2016 ILX models feature a 201-horsepower 2.4-liter inline four-cylinder engine paired with an eight-speed dual-clutch automated manual transmission.
On the outside, the ILX gets a mild face-lift with a new grille, front and rear fascias, LED headlights and taillights. The cabin gets improved materials and an optional secondary infotainment screen.
