AUBURN HILLS, Michigan — Chrysler announced pricing on the 2015.5 Dodge Viper SRT GTS and TA 2.0 Special Edition performance coupes, which will start arriving in dealer showrooms in the first quarter of 2015.
The TA 2.0 Special Edition starts at $106,090, including a $1,995 destination charge and a $2,100 gas-guzzler tax. It features a high-performance Aero package, competition rear spoiler and front lower dive planes for increased downforce and improved handling on the track. Other details include Brembo brakes, a rear carbon-fiber appliqué and car cover.
The top-of-the-line Viper SRT GTS starts at $112,090, including shipping and gas-guzzler tax. It features Laguna leather seats, an Alcantara headliner, Napa leather instrument panel, power six-way driver and passenger seats and an 18-speaker sound system.
The 2015 Viper SRT GT model starts at $99,090, including shipping and gas-guzzler tax. It offers Viper-badged aluminum sill plates and red Brembo brake calipers.
Dodge's base 2015 Viper SRT starts at $89,090, including shipping and gas-guzzler tax. Pricing on the base model was announced earlier this year.
Chrysler said the TA 2.0 Special Edition and GTS models feature more standard content than the 2014 models they replace.
The automaker reported a jump in the Viper's September sales after base pricing, along with a $15,000 price cut, was announced.
Edmunds says: Chrysler says it is showing its commitment to the Dodge flagship with the rollout of these two special models.
