However, shoppers will find a variety of price increases on the different 2015 Touareg models.
The top-of-the-line 2015 Volkswagen Touareg Hybrid starts at $67,905, including shipping, reflecting a $2,250 price increase over the 2014 Touareg Hybrid. Volkswagen of America said the hybrid model will be available in the U.S. in "very limited quantities."
Including shipping, the midrange 2015 Touareg Lux starts at $54,380, for an increase of $1,420.
The 2015 Touareg Executive TDI or clean-diesel model starts at $63,110, including shipping, for an increase of $765.
Volkswagen dealers will have 2015 Touaregs available for sale in early 2015.
Changes include a mildly restyled front and rear exterior and a more premium cabin with revised switches and trim.
New optional driver-assist features include adaptive cruise control, lane assist, side assist, front assist and an automatic post-collision braking system.
Edmunds says: VW holds the line on base 2015 Touareg pricing, but prices tend to escalate on the high-end models.
