2015 Toyota Venza Earns Five-Star Safety Rating From Federal Government

WASHINGTON — The 2015 Toyota Venza wagon earned the top five-star safety rating from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.

The 2015 Venza received four stars in the front crash test, five stars in the side crash test and four stars in the rollover crash test.

The rating applies to front-wheel-drive and all-wheel-drive versions of the 2015 Venza.

The 2015 Venza is on sale now at Toyota dealerships.

Standard safety equipment includes a new rearview camera, along with vehicle stability control, traction control, antilock brakes and brake assist.

Hill-start assist control is also standard on all Venza models. This feature helps prevent the vehicle from rolling backward when starting out on a hill. The Venza has seven standard airbags, including a driver's knee airbag.

The Insurance Institute for Highway Safety has not rated the 2015 Venza.

Key Venza competitors include the Ford Edge, Honda Crosstour and Subaru Outback.

Edmunds says: Car shoppers should note that NHTSA has not yet rated the 2015 Ford Edge and Honda Crosstour. The 2015 Subaru Outback earned the top five-star safety rating from NHTSA.
