2015 Toyota Tacoma and 4Runner TRD Pro Series Pricing Announced

TORRANCE, California The new 2015 Toyota Tacoma TRD Pro Series starts at $36,410, including an $885 destination charge, while the new 2015 Toyota 4Runner TRD Pro Series starts at $41,995, including shipping.

Toyota's Tacoma TRD Pro Series arrives at U.S. dealerships in early August; the 4Runner TRD Pro Series will arrive in early September.

The 2015 Toyota Tundra TRD Pro Series will go on sale this fall. Pricing for the Tundra TRD Pro Series will be announced "in the near future," Toyota said in a statement on Wednesday.

The top-of-the-line 2015 Toyota Tacoma TRD Pro Series Double Cab with a five-speed automatic transmission starts at $38,300, including shipping.

Toyota says the TRD Pro Series lineup is aimed at "serious off-roaders." The trim level is available on 4x4 models of Tundra, Tacoma and 4Runner.

All TRD Pro Series vehicles will be equipped with TRD Bilstein shocks, TRD-tuned front springs and a unique front grille with "Toyota" badging that pays tribute to early Toyota models.

Other details include TRD floor mats, shift knobs and black alloy wheels.

A new body color, Inferno, is offered, along with Attitude Black Metallic and Super White.

Toyota has not posted overall pricing on the 2015 Tacoma, Tundra and 4 Runner.

In comparison, a base 2014 Toyota Tacoma regular cab model starts at $19,010, including an $885 destination charge. A base 2014 Toyota 4Runner starts at $33,705, including shipping. The 2014 Toyota Tundra starts at $27,195, including a $995 destination charge.

The 2015 Toyota Tacoma TRD Pro Series competes with high-end versions of the 2015 Chevrolet Colorado and Nissan Frontier.

The 2015 Toyota 4Runner TRD Pro Series competes with top-of-the-line versions of the 2015 Jeep Wrangler and Land Rover LR4.

The 2015 Toyota Tundra TRD Pro Series takes aim at high-end versions of the 2015 Chevrolet Silverado, Ford F-150, Nissan Titan and Ram 1500.
