All versions are equipped with a 148-horsepower 2.0-liter Subaru Boxer engine and feature standard all-wheel drive. For 2015, the continuously variable transmission is now standard for the Premium and Limited models. A five-speed manual is standard in the base 2.0i and Sport Premium models.

Key Impreza competitors include the Chevrolet Cruze, Ford Focus, Honda Civic and Mazda 3.

Edmunds says: Car shoppers should be pleased with the upgrades to the 2015 Subaru Impreza.
