It is equipped with a 178-horsepower 2.4-liter inline four-cylinder engine and a nine-speed automatic transmission. Fuel economy is rated at 21 mpg in city driving and 29 mpg on the highway, according to the automaker. The EPA has not posted official fuel economy ratings on the ProMaster City.
Payload is pegged at 1,883 pounds, while towing capacity is 2,000 pounds.
The ProMaster City is based on the Fiat Doblo and is built at the TOFAS plant in Bursa, Turkey.
