GENEVA — The 2015 Lexus RC 350 F Sport is bound for U.S. showrooms in the fall, Toyota announced on Friday.
Toyota has not announced pricing for the RC models. The lineup includes the RC 350 sport coupe and the RC F performance model. The RC coupe is a critical car for Lexus, since it fills the hole in the lineup left by the Lexus SC coupe and the Lexus LFA supercar. Production of the SC ended in 2010 and the final LFA was built last December.
The RC 350 F Sport features an adaptive variable suspension and 19-inch mesh alloy wheels. The Lexus Dynamic Handling system will be an option.
The adaptive variable suspension automatically and independently adjusts the performance of the damping at all four wheels. It offers improved body control and precise responses to steering input.
Toyota notes that the RC 350 F Sport also features "a further evolution of the Lexus spindle grille."
Edmunds says: The choices increase in the Lexus RC Coupe lineup, which is a good thing for car shoppers making plans for the fall.
