IRVINE, California The base 2015 Kia Cadenza premium sedan starts at $35,700, including an $800 destination charge, reflecting a $200 price decrease over the 2014 model.

Kia's top-of-the-line 2015 Cadenza Limited starts at $44,600, including shipping, reflecting a $1,400 price increase over the 2014 model.

The Cadenza Limited gets a new grille and fender garnish, along with other upgrades. They include standard Flex Steer, Surround View Monitor that provides a nearly 360-degree overhead view of the vehicle for easier maneuvering and parking, new LED lighting elements, a new analog clock design and more chrome trim pieces.

A $3,300 Technology package adds rear cross-traffic alert, 19-inch alloy wheels, advanced smart cruise control, blind spot detection, a lane-departure warning system and electronic parking brake.

The Cadenza was a new model in Kia's lineup for 2014.

Key competitors include the Buick LaCrosse, Chevrolet Impala, Lincoln MKZ and Nissan Maxima.
