2015 Jeep Renegade Launches With Multimedia Contest

NEW YORK — The all-new 2015 Jeep Renegade, which will be arriving at Jeep dealerships toward the end of this month, is being launched with a multimedia promotional campaign and nationwide contest that includes the chance to win a 2015 Renegade and a trip to the iHeartRadio Music Awards in March.

The campaign, which began Sunday and runs through March 2, is being sponsored by Jeep and NBCUniversal.

With an emphasis on social media, the marketing push for the Renegade is designed to give the SUV traction against such rivals as the 2015 Chevrolet Trax, 2016 Honda HR-V and 2016 Mazda CX-3.

The campaign features "social commercials" that will run on Bravo, E!, NBC and Syfy. Each will include "call-to-action spots" encouraging viewers to share their own photos that embody the "Renegade spirit" on Twitter and Instagram. Some of those photos will be incorporated into future commercials.

Three participating viewers will be chosen by a panel of judges to receive a new 2015 Jeep Renegade Latitude. They will also be flown to Los Angeles to attend the iHeartRadio Music Awards and film a commercial that will air during the awards broadcast on March 29.

To enter the contest, fans should log into their personal Twitter or Instagram accounts and, using the "#RenegadeLifeContest" tag, post original photos of themselves demonstrating how they exhibit the Renegade spirit. Entries must be submitted by March 2 at 1 p.m. Eastern time to be eligible.
