The 2015 QX70 is on sale now at Infiniti's U.S. dealerships.

The QX70 5.0 AWD has been deleted from the lineup, which means that buyers can no longer get a QX70 with a V8 engine. The crossover now is offered only with the 325-horsepower 3.7-liter V6 engine. The engine is linked to a seven-speed automatic transmission.

Infiniti spokesman Kyle Bazemore told Edmunds that the V6 model accounted for the majority of QX70 sales. He noted that some equipment that used to be exclusive to the QX70 5.0 AWD is now available on the V6 model as part of a new $3,550 Sport package. That package includes 21-inch wheels and tires, paddle shifters and sport seats.

Competitors to the QX70 include the 2014 BMW X6, Land Rover Range Rover Sport, Mercedes-Benz M-Class and Porsche Cayenne.

Edmunds says: The choices narrow with the 2015 Infiniti QX70 lineup. But now you can get more goodies on the V6 model, thanks to a new options package.
