2015 Hyundai Sonata Gets $300 Price Cut

FOUNTAIN VALLEY, California The redesigned 2015 Hyundai Sonata sedan starts at $21,960, including an $810 destination charge, reflecting a $300 price cut over the 2014 model.

The top-of-the-line 2015 Hyundai Sonata Sport 2.0T starts at $29,385, including shipping.

The 2015 Sonata will arrive at dealerships by the end of May.

Standard equipment on the base 2015 Sonata SE includes seven airbags, 16-inch alloy wheels, LED daytime running lights, air-conditioning and a rear lip spoiler.

Standard equipment on the Sonata Sport 2.0T includes 18-inch alloy wheels, paddle shifters, a sport-tuned suspension, HID xenon headlights, a sport shift knob and a leather-wrapped steering wheel.

A $4,950 Ultimate package for the Sonata Sport 2.0T adds a long list of items, including a panoramic sunroof, smart cruise control, an Infinity premium audio system with 10 speakers, heated rear seats and a rear parking assistance system.

Competitors to the Sonata include the 2014 Ford Fusion, Honda Accord, Nissan Altima and Toyota Camry.

Edmunds says: While many of the Sonata's competitors have not posted 2015 model year pricing, it's clear that the Korean automaker intends to hold onto its reputation as a value leader.
