FOUNTAIN VALLEY, California — The 2015 Hyundai Elantra GT hatchback starts at $19,625, including an $825 destination charge, reflecting a $65 price increase over the 2014 model.
The base Elantra GT is equipped with a standard six-speed manual transmission.
The top-of-the-line 2015 Elantra GT with a six-speed automatic transmission is priced at $20,625, for an increase of $95 over the 2014 model.
Hyundai dealers will begin selling the 2015 Elantra GT in December.
As an added bonus for car shoppers, the price for the Elantra GT Tech package has been cut by $350. It adds $2,900 to the bottom line and bundles such items as a navigation system, sunroof and rearview camera.
The GT Tech package requires the Style package, which costs $2,550 and adds a long list of items, including a sport-tuned suspension, aluminum pedals and 17-inch alloy wheels.
The Elantra GT is a carryover model. The Elantra lineup received a midcycle update for 2014.
The popular Elantra GT comes standard with a 2.0-liter gasoline direct-injection engine, heated front seats and cooled glovebox.
