2015 Honda CR-Z Earns Four-Star Safety Rating From Federal Government


WASHINGTON — The 2015 Honda CR-Z hatchback earned a four-star overall safety rating from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.

Five stars is the highest rating.

The 2015 CR-Z received four stars in the front crash test, three stars in the side crash test and five stars in the rollover crash test.

The 2015 CR-Z is on sale now at Honda dealerships.

Standard safety equipment includes six airbags, vehicle stability assist with traction control, antilock brakes and a rearview camera.

The Insurance Institute for Highway Safety has not rated the 2015 CR-Z.

Key CR-Z competitors include the Hyundai Veloster, Scion tC and Volkswagen Beetle.

Edmunds says: Car shoppers should note that the 2015 Hyundai Veloster, Scion tC and Volkswagen Beetle earned the top five-star overall safety rating from NHTSA.
