DETROIT — The style-conscious 2015 GMC Sierra Elevation Edition starts at $34,865, including a $1,195 destination charge.

The base Elevation Edition is equipped with two-wheel drive and the standard 4.3-liter V6 engine. The Elevation Edition with the standard engine and four-wheel drive starts at $38,795, including shipping.

The Elevation Edition with the optional 5.3-liter V8 engine and two-wheel drive starts at $35,960, while the four-wheel-drive version starts at $39,890. Prices include shipping.

In comparison, the base 2015 Sierra starts at $27,800, including shipping.

The special Sierra goes on sale this month at GMC dealerships.

The Elevation Edition is offered in four exterior colors. They are Onyx Black, Quicksilver Metallic, Sonoma Red Metallic and Summit White. Other exterior details include 20-inch black-painted wheels, fog lamps and projector-beam headlights with LED signature lighting.

Standard connectivity features include OnStar 4G LTE Wi-Fi hotspot with a three-month/3GB trial, GMC IntelliLink with color display and Bluetooth.

Key competitors to the GMC Sierra include the Chevrolet Silverado, Ford F-150, Ram 1500 and Toyota Tundra.
