AUBURN HILLS, Michigan — The new "Dodge Chance to Be Bad" promotion gives fans a chance to win a 2015 Dodge Charger or Challenger, as well as Mötley Crüe memorabilia, concert tickets and other prizes.
As Mötley Crüe embarks on its Final Tour, Dodge has teamed with the long-lived metal band on the nationwide campaign, which is being heavily promoted via social media, Dodge and Mötley Crüe web sites, participating Dodge dealers and various local business outlets.
Fans can enter the contest at the Dodge Chance to Be Bad Web site and can then earn five additional chances to win by sharing links with their friends on Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Google+ and LinkedIn.
Qualified registrants will also receive an offer to test drive a new Dodge vehicle at their local dealer and receive Mötley Crüe concert tickets when they do.
The contest's grand prize is a $40,000 voucher to be applied toward the purchase of either a 2015 Dodge Challenger or 2015 Dodge Charger, plus $6,000 to apply to sales taxes.
First prize is the Ultimate Mötley Crüe Experience, which features a personal meeting and photos with the band, an autographed Fender guitar and other memorabilia, $400 worth of merchandise from the Mötley Crüe online store and free hotel, airfare and expenses.
Runner-up prizes include more autographed guitars, a variety of collector's items and tickets to this summer's tour.
"The 2015 Dodge Charger and Challenger are the ultimate American muscle cars just as the much anticipated Mötley Crüe 'Final Tour' is the ultimate high octane music event of the summer," said Tim Kuniskis, president and CEO of the Dodge Brand, in a statement. "The 'Chance to Be Bad Giveaway' gives our mutual fans an opportunity to win prize packages that are just as irreverent as our new muscle cars and the band itself."
Dodge says the Chance to Be Bad promotion is open to legal residents of the United States who are 18 years of age or older and have a valid driver's license. Sweepstakes concludes July 1, 2014, and winners will be determined by random drawing on July 2.
