2015 Chrysler Town & Country Earns Four-Star Safety Rating From Federal Government

WASHINGTON The 2015 Chrysler Town & Country minivan earned a four-star overall safety rating from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.

The Town & Country earned four stars in the front crash test, five stars in the side crash test and four stars in the rollover crash test.

Five stars is the highest rating.

Standard safety features on the Town & Country include a rearview camera, seven airbags and electronic stability control.

The uplevel Town & Country Touring-L, Limited and Limited Platinum models get the standard SafetyTec Group consisting of rain-sensitive windshield wipers, auto high-beam headlights, ParkSense rear park assist system, blind-spot monitoring system and rear cross-path detection system.

The Insurance Institute for Highway Safety has not rated the 2015 Town & Country.

Key competitors to the Town & Country include the Honda Odyssey, Kia Sedona, Nissan Quest and Toyota Sienna.

Edmunds says: The Feds are just beginning to post 2015 minivan crash-test ratings. The 2015 Honda Odyssey earned the top five-star safety rating. The 2015 Kia Sedona, Nissan Quest and Toyota Sienna have not been rated.
