Three trim levels are available on the Trax. They are LS, LT and LTZ.
A $1,500 option adds all-wheel drive. It is available on all models and makes the Trax "the most affordable AWD model in the Chevrolet portfolio," GM said.
Standard equipment includes 10 airbags, a rearview camera and MyLink infotainment system.
The Trax is equipped with a turbocharged 1.4-liter four-cylinder engine that delivers 138 horsepower. The engine is linked to a six-speed automatic transmission.
The Trax is smaller than the Chevrolet Equinox.
