The special Colorado model makes its public debut this week at the 2015 Chicago Auto Show. It is offered on Colorado LT models in extended- or crew-cab configurations with a long or short cargo bed and optional four-wheel drive.
In comparison, the base 2015 Colorado starts at $20,995, including shipping.
The heart of the new model is the GearOn accessory system, which allows buyers to mount everything from bikes to a bed-mounted tent.
The special edition includes the GearOn bars package, divider package and cargo tie-down rings. Other details include off-road assist steps, EZ lift and lower tailgate, 18-inch aluminum wheels and remote start.
Edmunds says: Truck buyers with active lifestyles will love this latest Colorado model. You should also note that GearOn accessories are available for installation on the entire Colorado lineup.
