Acura has discontinued the ILX Hybrid for 2015, according to American Honda Motor Co. The ILX is available with two powertrain choices: a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine linked to a five-speed automatic transmission and a 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine linked to a six-speed manual transmission.

Standard safety equipment on the 2015 ILX includes a rearview camera, six airbags, vehicle stability assist with traction control and antilock brakes.

Edmunds says: Car shoppers keeping score may want to note that the 2015 Buick Verano also scored the top five-star safety rating from NHTSA. The 2015 Audi A3 and Mercedes-Benz CLA-Class have not been rated.
