WASHINGTON — The 2014 Ford Transit Connect Wagon earned the highest five-star overall safety rating from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.

The Transit Connect Wagon features six airbags, including side curtain airbags for all seating rows. Optional features include a rearview camera and forward- and rear-sensing systems. The Ford MyKey technology is also optional on the Transit Connect. MyKey can be programmed to limit top speed and audio volume, encourage seatbelt use and restrict incoming calls and texts to a paired cell phone.

The 2014 Ford Transit Connect competes with the 2014 Nissan NV200 and 2015 Chevrolet City Express.
