WASHINGTON The 2014 Dodge Grand Caravan minivan has earned a four-star overall safety rating from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.

The Grand Caravan received four stars in the front crash test, five stars in the side crash test and four stars in the rollover crash test. The highest rating a vehicle can receive is five stars.

The 2014 Grand Caravan received "good" ratings in all Insurance Institute for Highway Safety crash tests, including the moderate overlap front crash test. In the moderate overlap front crash test, the forces are similar to those that would result from a frontal offset crash between two vehicles of the same weight, each going just under 40 mph.

The Dodge Grand Caravan is a 2013 IIHS Top Safety Pick.
