New Enclave features for the 2014 model year include a forward collision-alert system and a lane-departure warning system. SiriusXM Tune Select and text-to-voice features have been added to Buick's IntelliLink infotainment system. Also, a pair of USB ports has been added to the rear of the center console to charge phones and other electronic devices.

Competitors to the Enclave include the Acura MDX, Ford Explorer, Ford Flex and Honda Pilot.
