"The recent announcement that Alfa Romeo is returning to the market and has chosen the New York Auto Show to mark the occasion is very special for us and will be well received by our visitors," said New York Auto Show Chairman John LaSorsa in a statement.
It's been nearly 20 years since the last Alfa Romeo was imported here.
The first 1,000 models of the 4C produced will be known as the Launch Edition and feature LED headlights, a sport exhaust and special paint.
