DETROIT — General Motors is recalling 184 2014-'15 Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra pickup trucks because of an issue with all-weather floor mats in some vehicles, the automaker said.

The recall applies to trucks with vinyl floors and accessory all-weather floor mats purchased new with the vehicle.

Customers are advised to take the floor mats to their dealer for a full refund.

"The mats can slip under the driver's feet because the vinyl floors have no attachments to secure them in place," GM said in a statement on Monday.

GM said it is not aware of any crashes or injuries related to the mats.

No information about the recall has been posted on the Web Site of the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, which oversees vehicle recalls in the U.S.

Owners can contact Chevrolet at 1-800-222-1020 or GMC at 1-800-462-8782.

Edmunds says: If you own one of these trucks with the specific floor mat setup, return the floor mats immediately to your dealer.
