Vehicle2013 Cadillac XTS Premium 4dr Sedan (3.6L 6cyl 6A)
ReviewPurchased a White Diamond exterior with Carmel/Black interior Premium FWD XTS in July after considering a BMW or Mercedes.
After 3,300 miles in it, the more I drive it the more I love it. Outstanding ride quality and interior finish is top notch.
So glad Cadillac did not abandon the smooth ride to chase the BMW/Mercedes performance (extremely hard ride) model.
This car provides a perfect blend of cushion & performance handling.
Big car ride with midsize handling.
The spirited V6 provides excellent power while returning great gas mileage.
CUE system definitely requires a dedicated learning period to familiarize yourself with the many features.
Best FeaturesCUE infotainment center, Fwd collision warning system & blind spot warning mirrors.
Worst FeaturesNeeds power folding outside mirrors for tight garages & parking spots. Add a rear seat enterainment package option.

This car was a buig change for us. Coming out of a Jag XF Premium there was obviopus power/acceration differences. We have had the Cad for 1 week now and can't say enough about this car. The CUE system is intuitive and does take some learning but not as extensive as one might think considering the gadgetry involved. The trunk is huge! Did I say it was huge!? It is huge. The rear heated seats are to dye for and the ease of entry and exit are unmatched in other sedans. We were pleasantly surprised and impressed with the acceleration once we got used to the car and were not afraid to push it a bit. Put the shifter in "M" mode and the suspension adjusts to a sport setting. Shifting is normal until you use the paddle shifters. After that it is all up to you. Hold either of the paddles down for 3 seconds and the shifting returns to full auto but the sport suspension remains. This Caddy will get out of its own way. The quiet ride is exceptional. So far the only irritant is excessive wind noise when the moonroof is open. The interior and vehicle fit and finish is superb. This Cadillac has been a long time coming and was worth the wait.Report it
