The "Cadillac" Of Crossovers
By Almost A Perfect 10 on
Vehicle2011 Cadillac SRX Luxury 4dr SUV (3.0L 6cyl 6A)
ReviewThe designers really out did themselves with the SRX. Having always driven Sedan DeVilles or a DTS, I wasn't sure this car would be right for me, but it is! The fit and finish is perfect, and in Crystal Red it draws a lot of attention. The ride and comfort is very similar to the DTS I traded in as well as the overall feel of driving. It has just about every feature one could want, including a Bose sound system. I rated the reliability at 5 because the car only has 400 miles on it, and I don't know what to expect in the future. I suspect it will perform as expected.
Best FeaturesYou'll love the interior. Nothing has been spared as to quality, and nice little features like the word Cadillac that is located in the sills underneath the front doors that lights up at night when the doors are opened. Nice little touch!
Worst FeaturesThe Saab V6 engine leaves a lot to be desired. Had Cadillac used their 305 HP engine that's a upgrade on the CTS, this car would have been a perfect 10. It's just underpowered, and the best you can expect is 16-17 MPG under the best driving habits, not 18 MPG as advertised!
