1997 Cadillac Seville STS 4dr Sedan

Great car, great GM warranty, no
significant trouble with car. In
Chicago we have winter at least 4 months
out of the year, and as a result, would
not even consider a rear wheel drive
car. Every time it snows its a joke
watching the MB and BMW drivers try to
get around (even with traction control
and stability systems). Cadillac
dealership service is outstanding.

Best Features

Its unbelievable how much is left of the 300-hp Northstar engine when you punch the accelerator going 80 mph. Fantastic Bose sound system. Interior is cool, not overbaked.Magnasteer is nice.I personally feel that the '97 STS exhibits some of the best styling of its generation.

Worst Features

Even though I haven't had to replacement them yet, I understand that GM used some very sophisticated struts on the car that will be expensive to replace at some point in time in the near future (~$ 1,200). They probably should have went to a more conventional setup.
